Lotusphere 2008

Genii Software's 8th Annual Lotusphere Agenda Database for PDA Synching and Session Planning

Back by popular demand, we have built a Journal database containing all the sessions listed on the official Lotusphere site. This database is based on the personal ND6 Journal with a few added views, so it should synch with the Palm Pilot and other smart phones, but it also contains a wealth of useful information for planning out your schedule. Modify it all you want or make suggestions at for ways that we can make it more useful for you.

This final wrap up version is just to finalize changes and make sure people who could not replicate could see the links to updated slides, samples and demos on various speaker websites.

If you like, you can still replicate changes and Q&A from The Turtle Partnership using the Update Session Database from shared replicaaction. If you have already downloaded the database in a previous version, you can just replicate the changes down instead of downloading a new version.

But wait! The past two years there was a lot of enthusiasm for a Blackberry version, so the wonderful people at The Turtle Partnership have done it again. Read about it on their blog. Their data is based on Version 2, so you can download it at will.
Hide details for Version 2 to 2.4 changesVersion 2 to 2.4 changes
Small changes only in 2.1, including changing the requirement that a person posing a question give their name. You may know ask questions anonymously.

In 2.2, fixed calendar code to use correct time zones (thanks to Lars Berntrop-Bos), added several FUN items, such as Sunday and Wednesday parties, JAMFestand GURUPalooza and fixed some data items and regenerated all graphical representations such as "... in Swan".

In 2.3 (not released except through replication) and 2.4, added pedestal names, added several new repeats, added the first bit of food and fun.

Fixes, additions and Birds of a Feather included. I am still working on the pedestal information, but nobody has given me a copy yet (hint, hint). There is also a new collaborative feature in the Questions/Ideas view. The session db know allows you to post questions or ideas for the presenters letting them know what you want to learn from the session. In an upcoming version, there will also be the ability to post answers, so that presenters can collaborate as well. Let's make the premier collaboration conference for 15 years a bit more collaborative!
