Thanks to Volker, I happened on this long and rambling post by Michael O'Connor Clarke in which he talks about disclaimers on people's blogs. In particular, he points out that Ray Ozzie has the following statement
The views expressed on this website are mine alone and do not necessarily reflect the views of Groove Networks, Inc.As he points out, that is pretty silly, since Ray is "Founder, Chairman and CEO" of Groove Networks, Inc. Since I am Founder, Owner and President of Genii Software, I decided I'd better add a less disclaiming disclaimer to this weblog. You can find it down under my photo, but I will print it here as well just to be sure:
The views expressed in this weblog are mine alone, but since I am President and Owner of the company, they necessarily also reflect the views of Genii Software, Ltd.

Now that's more like it. I take my hat off to you, Ben.
A thoroughly clueful disclaimer. Thank you.

I'd be a little concerned if they *didn't* reflect the views of the company... :-)
