Eh, could you shine your spotlight elsewhere?

Way back in February, I noted that I had been selected for the Gold forum Member Spotlight.  I noticed today that I am still there, and the excitement is starting to wane.  I mean, did I break the mold or something?  Does nobody ever nominate anybody?

OK, here is an idea.  Let's all ("all" is presuming I have any readers left) head on over and nominate somebody.  Just to make sure this works, let's all nominate File Save, since he is safely out of them picture and presumably won't object to sitting there in the spotlight month after month, with all the bright lights turning his hair grey and the paint slowly peeling on his photo.

So, do me a favor.  Nominate File Save for the Member Spotlight today!   You'll be glad you did.  (OK, so maybe you won't, but I will)

Hmm, I do not know if I am am that out of the shadows:-). I will have to fill out my profile, send a picture that does not look like a deer in the headlights (see http://onlineathens.com/stories/071104/tec_20040711009.shtml , user name: BoboFett, password: password ) and get out the Grecian formula.

In great humbleness, I thank you. I do not know that I deserve it, but I thank you.

No way, Chris -- people will be expecting to see the famous "floppy icon" (see the toolbar in any of your favorite apps) as the picture representing "File Save". If you send anything else, folks'll wonder.

I agree. You could perhaps add a bit of hair to the icon so they don't think you are bald, but definitely the icon.

Like this? I think I like the solo floppy idea better:-).

That works for me. You might want to cut back on the pharmaceutical enhancements, though.

Oh, it was the deer shining his bloody headlights right at me to see if I would freeze in place or not:-)
