Version 2.2 of Lotusphere sessions db is available

Thu 10 Jan 2008, 08:01 AM

Only a few small changes to the Lotusphere 2008 Sessions DB, but at least one is quite important.  Lars Berntrop-Bos showed me how to fix the Add to My Calendar action so that it would work properly with different time zones, and I added some FUN track items, including the Wednesday Night Party at Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure, as announced by Ed Brill.  I also cleaned up the views a bit.  If you already have a previous version, just press the Update session database from shared replica action from the views and the changes will be replicate without your having to download again..

By the way, any assistance, guidance, tips anyone has on improving the Sessions DB web interface  would be appreciated as well.  I am not a web UI expert, and while I could probably do better with a lot of time, trial and error, I have already spent more hours than I can count on this database, and I should really work more on my demos for BP201 A Jug of Wine, a Spreadsheet and Thee.

(And for those counting, we are at over 3400 downloads)

Love the db, Ben. However, when I try to run the update I'm getting "Notes error: You are not allowed to route through this server (lotusphere.turtleweb.com)"

What am I doing wrong?

Just wanted to say thanks for faithfully providing such a useful tool for the community.

I look forward to it every year.

BTW: I just pulled the latest version and replicated it and it seems to be working fine now (from here at least.)

Info for session HND306 is missing

Nevermind. It must be our company firewall. It worked fine outside the firewall.
