Been there, voted, news at 11

My wife and I went over to the school down the street where we vote.  It was wet, it was cold, it was icy, it was slick... and a lot of people had already voted today.  There is an air of excitement.  I must admit, I love to vote, I love that we live in a country where voting is possible, and I really love that the candidates are generally decent, well meaning and intelligent.  I tend to vote as a Democrat, and will be very happy to support either of the two candidates, Obama or Clinton, in a general election.  I do prefer Obama, and voted for him, but I believe both are decent, intelligent and either would make an excellent president, although I think Obama would be a stronger choice than Clinton in many ways.  Even McCain does not seem like a "bad" choice, although I would wish that he had not had to compromise as many of his long held beliefs as he has had to to be the presumptive Republican nominee.  Still, it is a great relief that no matter what happens, the current administration will go away, and a better one will come in.
