If you are an American citizen

If you are an American citizen, you owe it to yourself to listen to this.  No, it isn't aimed at Democrats or Republicans or the Bull Moose Party for that matter, but it is a truly passionate speech by Craig Ferguson, who just became an American citizen himself.  It starts a bit slow, but please watch it all, and let me know your reaction.  I was very impressed, and I seldom watch the guy.  Somehow, this seems especially appropriate on September 11th.

The second half (if you only have time, just watch the first one, but the second one is interesting if you are just sitting around cruising the web and wasting your employer's hard-earned money anyway):

I, for one, am glad he became an American citizen.  We could use a bit more of that attitude.

Great! Now we've got to go and change the Constitution so we can allow people not born in this country to be President so that I can vote for Craig Ferguson for President! Just like converts to most religions, he gets what's going on and what it means to have these rights. He has a passion we most of us lack...

Thanks for reminding us, Ben! See you on Election Day! (Okay, probably not... unless you vote in Michigan...)
