Granted, they are free licenses, but I've never had 26 companies licensed to use a software product that I just released 12 hours earlier. Makes me glad I did so much testing. Sheesh!

There is always a huge demand for free beer, especially for tasty free beer. ;-)

There certainly is. It is a shame that it proves nothing about the demand for the same beer once people have to pay for it. For that, we have to wait a bit longer.
