Rich Schwartz's All Unicode Characters DB

Mon 15 Feb 2010, 10:22 AM

For those who delve deep into character sets, and those who want to test against a fairly comprehensive set of characters, Rich Schwartz has created the "All Unicode Characters DB" and made it available via OpenNTF.  Rather than point you straight at the download, I am pointing at the blog post Rich wrote about the database, as it has important caveats and explanations.  Mostly, I just wanted to express my gratitude for the resource to Richard.

Thanks for the link, Ben.

The original posting was an encrypted db... a little sloppiness on my part. I've replaced it now, and updated the link in my post.

By the way, a new version is coming soon. It will have LMBCS code point values as well as Unicode code point values listed for each character.
