I published my latest Out Of Notes video on Friday (see Out of Notes Part 7: MultiDatabase Export), but I am curious whether a world obsessed with Twitter and Vine and such needs something even shorter. I made an 8-frame snippet from my video, annotated and animated it to see if 16 seconds was a more appropriate attention-grabbing time. Click on the image to see full size because the video was recorded for HD and GIFs scale horribly, but if people like these (as additions to, not replacements for the videos), I'll record future frames in a smaller size. Mostly, I am curious whether this form of quick intro to the topic helps people to understand whether they might want to watch the video or not. I'm all about not wasting people's time.
