The history and the future

Wed 25 Oct 2017, 09:12 PM

by Ben Langhinrichs
It seems like good news out of IBM today, with their investment and deal to outsource development and support of the ICS products including a commitment to Notes/Domino Version 10 in 2018. While much could be said about whether it is too little too late or not, I'm going to stay out of that. Instead,

I'm going to make a much safer prediction:

All of the Genii Software products will support Notes/Domino Version 10, just as the Midas LSX has supported all versions back to R4, and the CoexLinks products have supported all versions since R5, and the AppsFidelity products have supported all versions since ND6.02.

Whatever the future of Notes/Domino 10, you can rely on history to predict the future with regards to our products.

I for one am looking forward to Notes and Domino 11 ( ! ) which should come somewhere in 2020 or 2021.

I still see a solid future for Notes and Domino as the competition is simply not good enough to do the same stuff or come even close to that.

It's still THE Product of the future and has been for the last 25 years.
