Civility in critiquing the ideas of others is no vice. Rudeness in defending your own ideas is no virtue.

In a perfect world, a princess fair as the wind would never have to deal with any trials and tribulations, but this is not a perfect world.  There are witches and warlocks, dungeons and dragons, and even the occasional glass of bewitched orange juice.   Such things cannot be controlled by noble princes, or faraway kings, and sometimes this can lead to a vale of tears, a tide of pity or even an ocean of regrets.  But it is worth remembering that things are just things, and can be replaced.  Noble princes matter much, much more, and cannot be so easily replaced.
