Hopes and prayers for those in London

London is one of my favorite cities, and it is very hard to hear about bombs and explosions in places I have been and plan to go again.  I cannot imagine the sorrow and fear amongst those who live in London or have loved ones there, but if there is one thing certain about London, it is that the people will not be beaten.  We may not all agree on how to fight this plague  of terror, but the best defense is to make sure it doesn't stop us from living our daily lives, to refuse to give in to the terror.  I certainly plan to visit London again as soon as I can.  A great city, and one that will survive and thrive despite these attacks.

Oh, it's alright. These ones were pretty incompetant, it seems.

Most interesting is that they also tried running away afterwards. Blimey. That's a new one for the suicide bomber's handbook... "Lob bomb and leg it. If anyone asks afterwards, just insist you died in the name of the cause, but didn't like being dead and came back."

It all seems rather amateurish, and if we hadn't been inconvenienced we'd have laughed our arses off. :-)
