We are busy putting in some final touches based on information learned and advice received at Lotusphere, and the actual beta test for iFidelity for Lotus Notes will probably start later this week.  If you would like to try iFidelity and see what it feels like to trust your email's fidelity, fill out the iFidelity beta evaluation request and we can set you up.  If you have any questions prior to filling out the beta evaluation request, feel from to drop me a line at   or comment on this post.

I'm sure this is just a personal issue, but everytime I see "iFidelity", my brain reads "infidelity", which is quite another image.

But that may be TMI. 8-)

Well, you are certainly not the only one to point it out. It i hard, because I think the name is great when said out loud (rhyming with "high fidelity"), but written out the way I do doesn't work well. One possibility is to write it somehow like iFidelty, or get a stylized logo that differentiates the "i" from the rest of the word. I could also use i-Fidelty, but I'd prefer to avoid the dash since it isn't there in iNotes (or iPhone, etc., for that matter).

Indeed. Branding is a hard thing to do right, as other large 3-letter companies consistently prove (whistles to himself).

I like the name, I like the "i" part as well, so overall I'd very much stay with it.

And it does kind of spice it up a bit, which can't actually hurt. 8-)
