Sheesh! Do I have timing or what?

It will probably not surprise many of my readers that I am a fan of Barack Obama, besides which, he is the President of the United States.  So, when he plans a visit to Shaker Heights High School, one block away from my house, when his motorcade is scheduled to drive in front of my house, where am I going to be?  Not sitting in the front row of the town hall meeting.  Not sitting on my front step watching him go by.  Nope.  I will be on a plane to Las Vegas, a city I loathe (but going to see people I like very much, fortunately).  Sigh!

Ugh. Out of respect for my esteemed colleague, you Ben, I offer this suggestion in all seriousness: Son + Video Camera = Almost like being there. Have a great trip! I share your sentiments about Vegas, but have lots of friends who love it.
