Midas Rich Text C++ API, Version 4.00 - Now shipping

The Midas Rich Text C++ API is licensed for each client and/or server which uses the software. If the software is run on both clients and server, both must be licensed.

Evaluation licenses:
Licenses for evaluation, testing and development of solutions are free. To request an evaluation license for Version 4.x, please fill out our Midas C++ Evaluation Request form, and a license file will be sent along with instructions on how to install the software. The license will expire after between 30 and 45 days, at the expiration date listed on your evaluation e-mail. Please note that a production license must be purchased if the evaluation license is used for production use, including one time exporting or conversion of data, even if the entire project can be completed during the evaluation period.

*Each Enterprise license includes a single production server license (MPPBS) as well the stated number of client licenses. Additional server licenses may be ordered separately.

All licenses except those sold through an OEM agreement require a 20% maintenance and upgrades agreement for the first year, to be renewed annually if the license is used past then. License payments may be made in any listed currency, but subsequent maintenance payments must be in that same currency (e.g., if you buy in Euros, you will need to pay maintenance in Euros from then on)

Standard Midas Software Agreement. All upgrades except major version upgrades (e.g., 3.x to 4.x) are freely available on our website to licensed users. Major version upgrades are available at all users who are up to date with paid maintenance agreements.
